The Smart Care Device helps Medicaid recipients receiving in-home care services through the Community First Choice (CFC) and Roads to Community Living (RCL) programs increase their independence and receive 24/7 support with ADLs, IADLs, and health-related tasks.
ElliQ, the Smart Care Device, is an Assistive Technology device that interacts and engages with a client to provide support through proactive suggestions, reminders for ADL and IADL tasks, health-related activities, and accessing their community. ElliQ also provides onscreen instructions to interact in a way that makes it personalized and natural.
By offering ElliQ as part of the DSHS client's care plan, HCLA aims to use technology to provide support for daily tasks or health-related activities.
